How I Can Help
I provide affordable counselling for trauma, anxiety, and overwhelm – £40 per session (first session free) for individuals, children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties. My approach offers a safe, confidential space to explore your experiences and begin moving forward at your own pace.
I am located in West Lothian for in-person and online for UK counselling.
Trauma Counselling and Emotional Support
I offer support for those affected by trauma, including childhood trauma, sexual trauma, and complex life experiences. Together, we can gently explore how these experiences impact your thoughts, emotions, and relationships today.
Counselling for Children and Adolescents
I provide counselling for children and young people, helping them understand and express their emotions in a supportive and age-appropriate way. This includes support with anxiety, behavioural difficulties, and emotional distress.
Family Support, Parenting, and Relationships
I work with parents, carers, and families to navigate challenges such as stress, conflict, and communication difficulties. I also offer relationship counselling to help improve connection, boundaries, and understanding between partners or family members.
Support for Care Experience, Disability, and Carer Stress
I have experience supporting individuals with care experience (including foster care and adoption), as well as those living with disabilities or long-term conditions. I also support carers experiencing stress, burnout, or emotional overwhelm.
Building Practical Coping Skills
Alongside counselling, I can help you develop practical tools to support your wellbeing, including:
- Emotional regulation skills to better manage intense feelings
- Distress tolerance techniques for coping in difficult moments
- Mindfulness strategies to stay grounded and present
- Interpersonal effectiveness skills to improve communication and relationships
